Stress catabolism and systemic inflammatory response is ubiquitous in critically ill patients. Multiorgan failure, various morbidities, higher length of stay are commonly seen the ill, especially current pandemic context. Nutritional importance such critical-care settings immense. Adequate nutrition care helps overcome stress modulates both innate adoptive immunity favorably, loss body muscle mass attenuated, metabolic complications also controlled. Reduced morbidity rates, hospital stay, better patient outcomes patients with adequate have made support worthy critical settings, no more considered as adjunct but therapeutic.[1]
